Love is in the air with special Wild Valentines activities. Find out how our wild neighbors raise families, find mates, and “love.”

Make a valentine craft and purchase a valentine for your favorite animal, to hang in our main exhibit hall. Discover how wildlife families recognize and help each other. Pet a gentle animal. Watch an eagle or a mammal in training. See an animal ambassador get its meal. Meet an owl. Learn how our hospital cares for wildlife behind the scenes. Bring your valentine along for the fun!

Wildlife Families Do you know what animal can find its baby by its scent? Which mom shares its nest with other moms while the “teenagers” help raise babies? Find out how some of our wild animal neighbors find mates and raise their young.

11:30am * We love wildlife! Visit our Wildlife Hospital Behind the Scenes exhibit to learn how our wildlife hospital staff and volunteers care for the over 5,000 hospital patients each year.

12:00pm * Owl be Your Valentine With large, round heads and huge, forward-facing eyes, owls are instantly recognizable and “hearted” by many. Meet one of our owl ambassadors up close and personal.
